    About Udawalawe National Park

    Located in southern Sri Lanka, Udawalawe National Park is famous for its large elephant population and diverse wildlife. The park covers over 30,000 hectares of open grasslands, forests, and the scenic Udawalawe Reservoir, creating an ideal habitat for elephants, water buffalo, deer, crocodiles, and more than 200 species of birds.
